  • Founded in 2008, NoDa Yoga is proud to have started from grassroots beginnings. NoDa Yoga is an all-female owned yoga studio located in the heart of NoDa’s thriving Historic Arts District.

    NoDa Yoga’s vision of uniting a healthy community together has stretched beyond the studio to local businesses, non-profit organizations, corporations, individuals and homes. Our belief is that small business can make a big difference. Forming business partnerships to raise awareness, and support for a variety of health and wellness programs, NoDa Yoga strives to be an entity of healing, health, acceptance, and joy. 

  • NoDa Yoga

    For yoga in Charlotte, NoDa Yoga has been a staple in the community for over 8 years!  Located at 3201 N. Davidson Street in NoDa (right above Cabo Fish Taco), this unique studio is known for it’s personalized instruction that meets each student where he/she is that day.  NoDa Yoga has served as a community resource for health and holistic wellness for men, women, and children of all walks of Charlotte life.

    In the spring of 2018, NoDa Yoga opened a second Annex location to offer accessible yoga in Charlotte to those who may need with this new wheelchair accessible space. The annex will host both 200 and 300 hour yoga teacher trainings, workshops, special events, and more!

    Offerings

    NoDa Yoga offers a variety of upbeat styles of yoga in Charlotte.  From Gentle Yoga to Warm Vinyasa classes, this trauma-sensitive studio has something for everyone!  With a focus on Gentle, Restorative, and Yin classes, NoDa Yoga provides an opportunity to support students both physically and mentally.  Looking for something with more movement?  Explore meditative movement in a Slow Flow class or build some heat in one of the many Vinyasa classes.  With smaller class sizes and personalized instruction, this is the perfect studio for students to begin or deepen their yoga practice.

    In addition to providing a variety of styles of yoga in Charlotte and the surrounding area, NoDa Yoga also hosts many workshops, trainings, and special events!  There are endless opportunities to explore and try new things such as chair yoga, women’s circles, reiki trainings, meditation, and more!   For the brand-new yogi [or seasoned yogi looking to deepen his/her practice] NoDa Yoga offers a Fundamental Series! This series teaches terminology, poses, breath practices, and many of the meaning elements of yoga.  For the yogi that’s ready to share the gift of yoga with the world, NoDa Yoga is home to two teacher trainings.  Both 200-hour and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings are offered.

    Community

    NoDa Yoga strives to make yoga accessible to every BODY; both physically and financially.  With multiple $8 Karma classes and two opportunities to Pay What You Can, yoga in Charlotte has never been more affordable!

    This studio is proud to offer a scholarship for military veterans.  This scholarship provides past and present military personnel $5 yoga in Charlotte at any time.  In addition to affordable yoga, NoDa Yoga’s Veteran’s Scholarship has sponsored veterans during their Yoga Teacher Training.  This scholarship is funded by generous donations of students and staff to ensure that our men and women of the military can afford the healing benefits of yoga.

    The NoDa Yoga team is the heart of this unique, loving and supportive community.  With a wide variety of experience, training and passions, the teaching team at this studio cannot be beat!  NoDa Yoga’s schedule is filled with teachers who have advanced certifications and have trained with the best-of-the-best!  Whether it’s Advanced Therapeutics of Yoga studies, Adaptive Yoga training with Matthew Sanford, advanced certification in Yin Yoga with Paul and Suzee Grillery, Relax and Renew Certifications for Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater, or Ayureveda therapies under Dr. Ashlesha Raut, this well rounded and highly educated team supports students both on and off the mat.
